What is monetizing Web presence. While the term itself may be intimidating in simple terms it means, how can a business gain value (increased revenue or lesser costs) through their websites. Companies focusing on increasing their revenue from their websites, email campaigns and other social network campaigns, need to look at the monetizing measure for the Web Presence as the number of leads generated by these different sources of Web presence.

Companies focusing on decreasing their costs from their websites should use as a metric the costs that are being saved by the information provided by the website which otherwise would have to be provided either by a person within the business or the consumer has to contact the competitor for the purpose of getting this information.
